Owen received his first haircut yesterday. It was starting to look a bit long in places, so we headed down to Ottawa so "Aunt Rhonda" could cut his hair. Luckily, we were the only people in the shop, because of course we had to take a ton of pictures and video the whole experience. And yes, we did the same for Anna only she was like 2 1/2. We started off trying to put the cape around his neck, but he wasn't having it. So, he got it cut with just his onesie on. I love it! He did remarkly well and only moved around a little bit at the very end.
I have to say, though, this was bittersweet for mommy. It's my last 'first' haircut. And even though he's still a baby to me, he looks a lot more like a little boy than he did before. My baby is growing up... Sigh.... He's the best little guy a mommy could ask for.

LOVE the pictures of him. He does look like a little boy now (not that he didn't before, but he just looks older). He looks so proud!
What a handsome guy he is! And I totally think you should go with that mohawk look... :P
