With sad, sad hearts, we had to leave the Giving Tree Preschool and our best preschool friends and teachers when we moved...
However, we've been blessed with another really good preschool here in WDM. Anna has two wonderful teachers and has already made some new friends. In Lawrence, she attended three mornings a week from 9-11:30a. Here, she attends four afternoons a week 12:30-3p. I know it was harder for her to get up and going in the mornings for preschool b/c she's not a morning person. However, it was really nice to have preschool over at 11:30 and then we had the rest of the day. Although, I must say, going to afternoon preschool has been great too! Anna is usually ready to walk out the door at 10 or 10:30a. I don't even have to remind her to brush her teeth or ask her to get her shoes on... Although, I do have to remind her that we still have to eat lunch and Owen and I have to get ready too!
Her new preschool does things a little differently too. They have a weekly theme and Anna just loves all the pretend play that goes on. They have "recess" everyday. Although, it's only been outside once since she's attended here. They have a large gym right next to their room, so they are able to ride bikes and play ball, etc. inside.
I've included a picture of Anna and her new teacher, Mrs. Reif. She's having a baby in March so the assistant teacher will be her lead teacher the rest of the year...
