The kids and I decided that we needed to head back to KS for spring break. We thought it would be best to pack on Sunday night, have Dan load the car Sunday night and then leave after breakfast on Monday. Well, we didn't exactly leave right after breakfast, and it did take at least an hour to eat lunch and go potty (yeah-- that was hard with one adult and a barely walking toddler and a 'big girl' 5 year old- but we did it!). We made it to O-Town at 3:12p. Without lunch, for those of you who will be coming to visit in WDM, it was 3 hours and 12 minutes... not bad.
The kids were fabulous the trip down. The only issue was right outside of Kansas City when I hear from the backseat... "Owen you can't look out of my window. That's your window, you can only look outside that one." Too funny.... I only giggled to myself.
It's been soooo good to be back "home" and so nice to visit with friends and family. We even caught the Lawrence St. Patty's day parade and had dinner with our favorite St. Patty's day birthday boy, Grant.
Thank goodness we have 4 more days here!
