Poor Anna...

Poor Anna... She told us yesterday that her tummy hurt. She said early afternoon that she would like to try a Popsicle so we let her have part of one. Well, her tummy didn't like that so it sent it back out... Immediately, she said she felt a lot better. She didn't eat again, though, until very late and only had part of a banana. She drank some water throughout the day to keep her hydrated. This morning, she still feels lousy and has just laid on our bed (watching TV) and then moved to the couch to be closer to Owen and I. Unfortunately for her, I didn't want the TV on in the living room, so she looked at some books. Next thing you know... she's asleep. If you know Anna very well you will agree that she must feel really, really lousy to be asleep on the couch mid-morning.

And, lucky for us, we got to see what it's like to go to a clinic (something we've learned since moving to Iowa). We have never been to a clinic before, only our primary care physicians. So, on Thursday, when Owen hadn't been himself for 4 days and was so cranky and clingy that I knew there was something wrong, I called his new pediatrician's office that afternoon. They were booked the rest of the day and told us to go to the pediatrics clinic that stays open late downtown. I got an appointment for him and had Dan meet me there at 7:15p - downtown (big time for the Twedts). It took 5 minutes, they were very nice, and learned that Owen had a double ear infection. Sad... So, he's on antibiotics. But, at least he's feeling better. Now, we need to get Ms. Mae better too...

No MORE Sickies!! It's spring!!
