Last night (5.14.09), we went to an amazing police open house. They had so many cool things to check out. Of course they had the usual things like firetrucks, ambulances, police cars, but they had other cool stuff too. They had blow up jumpers, bomb trucks, SWAT trucks, clowns, tattoos, mobile command trucks, free food (yes, free dinner), guns (not loaded), free bike helmets for everyone, fire safety truck, mounted police, K-9 police, police chief, other things I can't remember and the really cool thing, a Black Hawk helicopter. The best part of the evening for me was being front row watching the Black Hawk take off. It was incredible (and windy). Another really cool thing was that I spoke with the pilot and he and his team might have been in Iraq with Tim, my brother. Very cool...
BTW, the little friend in the picture with Anna is Will --- remember Will? Please see April 1st entry (he's the crush)... To say the least, Anna was very happy to see Will at the open house last night.
