Finally!

Owen finally, finally put two words together today! Geesh! Owen is super smart and can do many gross motor type things that Anna could never do at this age. He understands a ton as well and if you ask him to something (and he wants to) like go get his shoes or get Anna or whatever, he will do it. Talking, however, is not his strong suit. I know he will talk more when he is ready and not a moment before. He said Buh, buh (bye bye) right before his well-baby check at the end of April. I'm convinced he only said it because I told him the new doctor was going to ask if he said more than one word (buh, buh counts I think). Sure enough, right after I told him that I said, "okay, let's go bye-bye" and he said it... He knows...

So today, imagine my surprise when he said, "momma look" and then later said "momma go." Very happy day indeed!

He also just recently within the last week has begun to smile this super cheesy, eyes closed, teeth baring, huge grin when I want to take pictures of him - I love it! It's much better than looking away when I get out the camera!!

I just know he's going to be that kid that only does what he wants when he wants... sigh...
