Big Weekend!

Riding in the Model A

Another busy weekend in Iowa! Anna played T-ball on Saturday and did a great job again! She's hitting all from coach's pitches rather than the T. She's showing great improvement in all areas! I have to say it's been really fun being the coach as well. There are two of us as parent coaches this year and I think we compliment each other well.

We also made a stop at Living History Farms because it was "Threshing Days." Anna got to help handle the hay and MILK a cow. We were able to ride a Model A convertible. Owen and Anna both (okay, me too) thought this was great fun!

Finally, and this is a big one... we took off the training wheels on Anna's bike today. She's been asking all summer for us to do it, but we couldn't at the apartment as there was no safe place to ride. She practiced with me a couple of times and now she's riding all by herself. It took less than half an hour... :) We're proud parents for sure!!
