Sesame Street LIVE - Elmo's Green Thumb

Today we got to go to "Sesame Street LIVE - Elmo's Green Thumb" so Owen could see "Melmo" in person!! This was such a treat for him. He was slow getting to the car, but as soon as we got to the arena, he was sooo excited. I don't think he knew exactly what was happening, but knew that it was a BIG place and Elmo was in it!!

We never took Anna to any of these types of shows when she was younger - we just never got around to it. So, it was really fun for her too.

Here are some pictures that I took from the show. Some notes: the cotton candy was purchased and almost eaten BEFORE the show started and the $10 (yep, $10) Elmo balloon lasted less time than the cotton candy because Dan used a 'cool' knot that didn't last long on Owen's wrist. Owen was sooo sad that his "Melmo" balloon went bye- bye before he even had a change to love it! We both felt bad saying we couldn't get another one. Hopefully, he's already forgotten about it...

It was such a great day! Makes us all happy to spend the day together as a family!!
