James and the Giant Peach

Back in October, I won a "Mega Raffle Basket" at Anna's school carnival! We got a lot of really fun tickets and gift cards. One of the really cool gifts, was four tickets to go see "James and the Giant Peach" at the Des Moines Playhouse. We got to go this past Friday night. It was a really fun show where most of the actors were kids. Owen and Anna were just amazed at all the fun actors/actresses, not to mention the songs and props! The show lasted 1 hr and 15 minutes - just perfect for a three year old! Lots of fun - and ice cream for dessert - not a bad night!

Ps. One of the best parts - Owen sitting on my lap with Anna sitting between Dan and I holding both our hands. True contentment and happiness....
