Christmas Eve

What a GREAT day!

Can I tell you why??

First of all - it's Christmas Eve

We had no particular place to be

I finished wrapping presents - with two helpers

Owen and Anna are at the PERFECT ages for Christmas

Anna asked Owen to play a game w/o being asked

We had prime rib for dinner

Christmas Eve candlelight service was incredible and awe inspiring

(although O fell asleep for most of it)

Nan's Nummies' cookies for Santa

Santa sent personalized email videos to the kids

Drove around looking at Christmas lights drinking cocoa and in our PJs

Kids got to open one present each

Anna read "Twas the Night Before Christmas" -

just as we read to her in years past

We are so blessed to be parents to these two little gifts

While we miss being with our family today and tomorrow -

They are still in our hearts and we can't wait to see everyone soon

And the BEST part of today...

Jesus was born!!
