Our First Chicago Visit!

With crazy nice weather for January, we FINALLY were able to plan a trip to see some old friends, Todd and Heather and their super cute girls!

Since we had such a great time and took so many pictures - I'm going to have to write a couple of posts for this trip!!

Since Anna had school on Friday, we left after she got out and got to Chicago around bedtime.  The kids got reacquainted and then they headed to bed.  That meant that we got to catch up sans kiddos!!

We decided to head downtown on Saturday! So, after we all got ready (poor Dan only got five minutes - which if you know Dan is not long enough! HA!), we raced to the train station so we could take the doubledecker train downtown. Then, we got to ride in a CAB!! Yep, a cab! I'm so much from a small town! It was Owen's first cab ride so of course I took pictures! We took the cabs (actually two b/c we couldn't all fit in one) to Gino's East and GREAT pizza joint where you can write all over the walls!
