This year just flew by!! I remember when we were heading to school for the first day! Anna had a great year and we are super proud of her! She has always enjoyed reading, but this year really fell in love with it. It's rare to find her w/o a book (or two)! If you ask her, her favorite subject this year was science. And, to top it off, she won the "good friend" award. I guess all her classmates voted on certain categories and she won the "good friend" one for being nice and caring. Makes me a very proud mom....
She ended up having a great last day full of assemblies and fun activites. Right after school, we went to Maddy's Again (local restaurant) for ice cream and then met up with the Liskey family for dinner on the patio at On the Border! Then, we came home and played outside the rest of the evening.
She said she was happy to be out of school for the summer! I have to say, I am very glad she's home. I miss her when she's at school and feel more complete when she's here. Owen would say the same thing! He loves his big sister being here all day every day!
