Today, Owen turned one whole hand worth of years! He had a great day!! Started off with a donut with sprinkles to begin his birthday right! He was really tired after our big weekend, so he asked if he could watch his favorite shows for a while. Per his request, we laid in bed with pjs on and watched some cartoons! Then, we met his best buddy, Parker, for lunch at Chick-fil-a (his choice). After that, he had preschool which included ice cream and cookies for treats for his special day! After school, he played outside and with a neighbor until we went to dinner for his birthday. He wanted Z'marik's mac and cheese! He opened his presents when we got home! He got some really cool gifts! All in all a very fun day!
I thought I might be a little emotional with him turning five, but he's been so happy about it, it's hard not to be happy with him! I will miss having a four year old in the house, but am so excited for what is to come! He is becoming such a charming little guy and so talkative to boot! He wakes up every morning with bright blue eyes and a smile on his face ready for the day!
We love our lil' buddy so much! Can't wait to see what five brings!
