Anna and Dan ran the Drake Grand Blue Mile! This mile run is the annual start of the Drake Relays here in Des Moines. Dan has run it four times and this is Anna's 2nd year running it. They have a recreational division, men's and women's competitive division and Invitational Championship run. Dan and Anna ran in the recreational division. I am very pleased to say that Anna had a personal record at 7:58, placing 25th out of 253 kids in her division (under 13).
