I Only Took One Breath...

And now she is finished with preschool... Technically, she has one more day to go but it is their 'cleanup' day and then we have the school-wide picnic. Today, though, was her end of the year ceremony. While she stood up there singing the songs and reciting the poetry, I realized that it truly was only yesterday that she was born. A snuggly, little ball of a baby girl-with her striped pink and blue hat and the dark newborn eyes... And now, look at who she has become... A very sweet, smart, kind and fun girl who loves to run, skip, ride bikes and scooters, play with friends, read (pretty close now all by herself), color, paint, marker, sing, dance, practice tying her shoes, watch TV and most importantly, love on her brother. She is beautiful, inside and out and at five and half, done with preschool and moving on to kindergarten. I'm so proud of my little light-red headed, green-eyed, precious baby girl... My mommy heart is full of love...
