Owen Makes a Cake and Anna Enjoys Dr. Suess' Birthday

On Monday (3/1/10), Owen helped me make a strawberry cupcakes. It was his very first time helping me in the kitchen. Anna helped me when she was a little younger than Owen, but for some reason, Owen just doesn't follow directions as well as she did. :) So, after promising me that he would indeed listen and follow my directions, he helped me make the cupcakes. It was a lot of fun and we all thought they tasted wonderful, including the friends we shared them with.

Also, this week, Anna's school helped celebrate Dr. Seuss' Birthday. They had all kinds of fun activities... Monday, they dressed up with things from a favorite vacation. Tuesday, they wore beach/summer clothes. Wednesday, it was crazy hat day. Thursday, was mix-matched day. Friday was black, red and white day. One of their teachers dressed up like Cat and the Hat.
