I had NO idea how exciting today was going to be for me (or Anna)!! I got out some chicken for dinner and then started thinking about what to put with it. About 15 minutes before the chicken was finished, Anna, Dan and I went out and literally picked three types of lettuce, three little carrots and green beans for supper. We went in and washed them all and of course, cooked the beans. Here's our bounty! Seriously, though, we need to thank Anna because she was the one that said she wanted a vegetable garden. She waters it most every day and she watches it grow and grow. I never would have done this without her. Never. I also never knew how satisfying it would be to go out to my own backyard and pick what we would eat in a matter of minutes... So COOL!!
