Owen Lost His First Tooth!

Owen's bottom two teeth have been loose for a few weeks now. I was so nervous, I even took him to the dentist to make sure everything was okay. They took X-rays only to find out that his permanent teeth are indeed coming in and pushing out his baby teeth. And yes, the dentist mentioned he was very young, but it was not unheard of. His lower left tooth has been super loose for about a week. So much so that it was going crooked a lot, not to mention it had moved about 1/4 mm higher than his other teeth. He DID NOT want anyone touching it, not even allowing anyone to look at it.  I was the only one that he let near it and only once in a while.  I started getting scared he was going to swallow it because I thought it was going to fall out at any moment.  Finally this morning, while we were having a slow morning, I held him in my lap and with Anna helping, I pulled it out.  He said it hurt a little through his tears.  After we cleaned it up, he was proud of his new little gap and even said he forgave me for pulling it out ;). What a day! Disney and losing a first tooth; quite the memory maker!
