Owen's First Day of Pre-K Preschool!!

Today was Owen's first day of Pre-Kindergarten preschool!

He was so very excited to finally get to go to school.  We've been counting down the days since Anna started back in mid-August.  He's going to the same school that he attended last year, Shepherd of the Valley.  We just LOVE it there.  It's like one big family!  Last year he went two mornings a week, but this year, he'll be going four afternoons from 12:30-3:00pm.  I hope we like afternoons - it's definitely new to us!

I do have to admit I was going to call this post, "Our Last First Day of Preschool" but when I remember this afternoon and how excited Owen was to go, I have to be happy that he's happy and not dwell on the fact that my baby is in Pre-K and heading to full days next year.  He lit up when he got to tell us how his day went and he brought home some really cute art projects (one of which is just for his mom).

Looking back, he really had a great day today!  He started at his gymnastics class at Chow's then lunch with his good buddy, Parker.  From there, we went to school (Parker also goes to the same preschool), then to Menchie's Frozen Yogurt with another buddy, Ryan.  After that, we went home and he got to play with another good friend, Gentry.

I am just so proud of my little buddy, Owen.  He is such a good boy and even at his young age of four (and a half - wouldn't want to forget the half), he has brought us so much happiness and we couldn't be prouder of him.

He didn't even have to ask how to spell "mommy"
I sure love this little guy...
