Lost: Tooth #7

On Saturday, while waiting for the Pella Tulip Festival Parade, Anna said her tooth felt like it was about to come out. I probably should have been ready after the weeks and weeks of hearing her tooth was loose and she was wiggling and wiggling it. So, I asked her if she wanted me to pull it and she said yes. So, I took a napkin and pulled it out. No pain, hardly no blood, but LOTS of smiles and giggling from Anna. She was sooo proud that it came out at the Tulip Festival Parade. She said she couldn't wait to tell everyone.

She also chose to write a letter to the Tooth Fairy this time around. She asked the Tooth Fairy for three things. 1.) A picture of herself (the Tooth Fairy), 2.) $5 (her usual take for a tooth is a gold dollar coin), 3.) A stuffed animal. This letter was written after finding out that a friend down the street wrote a similar letter and received what she asked for.

When Anna woke up the next morning and found only her gold coin, she was discouraged. I explained to her that for one, the Tooth Fairy is really little and she was not prepared to find a letter requesting something different, she only had brought her a gold coin as that was what she did with Anna. I also explained that the Tooth Fairy does things different with every child and that the gold coin was her "special" thing she does with Anna. That Tooth Fairy, is pretty thoughtful!

Here are some pictures of the cutie!!
