It's official!! Dan and I (and Owen) are saying Owen is POTTY TRAINED! I can't even begin to tell you how happy we are! This process has taken forever with Owen (Anna was sooo easy). We started toying around with it at the beginning of the year, but Owen just wasn't completely ready. It was only after we promised him a soft sword and shield and put him in big boy underwear during the day instead of Pull-ups, he finally decided it was time. Since a week ago Saturday (4/30), he has not had an accident!
After it's all been said done, he got his sword and shield, new "Cars" undies and a special surprise, a boy scooter! Anna got a Princess scooter when she was done potty training. Owen's been riding it for about a year. We offered him one when we started training, but he kept saying he had one (Anna's). So, we surprised him today with his own, boy scooter, a race car one. He was super excited! I haven't gotten a picture of the sword and shield yet, but I will post it.
I try not to be sad as there will be no more diapers in the Twedt house, but I am just a little bit. Of course, I don't want a 3 1/2 yr old in diapers, but I will miss having a little, little person in the house. I now only have a 7 1/2 yr old going on 16 and a 3 1/2 yr old who thinks he's all big boy now!
